                NSF OIG received an allegation of plagiarism in a declined NSF proposa1. 1 Our initial
         review identified potential plagiarism. We contacted the Pf seeking an explanation. The PI's
         response to our letter dispelled the allegation, leaving umesolved only a de minimis amount of
         inadequately cited text. We sent the PI a Questionable Research Practice letter, reminding him to
         ensure appropriate citation in future submissions to NSF.

                   Accordingly, this case is closed with no further action taken.
